PPV Price For Showtime Doubleheader Featuring Charlo Brothers Revealed

The price for one of boxing’s biggest cards of 2020 has been revealed.

On September 26, Showtime will be hosting a doubleheader event on pay-per-view. The card will feature separate title fights with Jermell and Jermall Charlo. Jermell will put his WBC Light-Middleweight Title on the line against Jeison Rosario, while also going for WBA (Super) and IBF gold. As for Jermall, he’ll defend his WBC Middleweight Championship against Sergiy Derevyanchenko.

Showtime Sports has revealed the price for this special PPV event. The suggested retail price is $74.95. Mauro Ranallo, Al Bernstein, and Abner Mares will be on commentary duties. Steve Farhood will be the unofficial scorer. Brian Custer will be in the host role. This doubleheader event will be held inside an empty Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

This will be the first PPV offering from Showtime Sports since Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner back on January 19, 2019. That event reportedly took in 400,000 PPV buys.

Jermell is coming off a TKO victory in the 11th round against Tony Harrison in their rematch on December 21, 2019. His opponent, Rosario, defeated Julian Williams via fifth-round TKO to capture the WBA (Super) and IBF Light-Middleweight Titles.

Jermall last fought on December 7, 2019. He defeated Dennis Hogan by way of seventh-round TKO to retain his WBC Middleweight Title. Derevyanchenko was defeated by Gennadiy Golovkin via unanimous decision in his bid for the IBF Middleweight Title.
