Price Delays Comeback From Povetkin Loss

Following his devastating knockout loss to Alexander Povetkin on the undercard for Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker’s heavyweight unification clash, David Price had been set to return on October 5th.

Now, the former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion has pulled out of his scheduled fight in Belfast.

Price was set to face Sean Turner, but following his opponent pulled out of the fight with an injury this week, Price has also pulled from the card headlined by Tyron McCullagh against Josh Kennedy.

MTK Global, who promote Price, made it known that a rescheduled date for Price’s return will occur in “due course.”
