Price Talks Return After Povetkin Loss

Following his devastating knockout loss to Alexander Povetkin on the undercard of Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, David Price is preparing for his return to the ring.

Price returns to the ring on July 27th, and claims that after being knocked out by Povetkin, many urged him to retire.

“I’m made up to be back,” Price said. “I’ve got my mojo back and I’m in love with boxing again.

“I really enjoyed the fight and the occasion last time out and although my next fight won’t be on the scale of the Povetkin fight, it’ll be a step back towards the big time.”

Price will be facing an unnamed opponent on an MTK Manchester card on July 27th at the Macron Stadium in Bolton.

“A lot of inspiration has come from the fans. It’s really giving me such a boost. When you receive the support I have –– especially after a defeat –– it’s heartwarming and I’m excited to lace up the gloves again.”
