Promoter Frank Warren Wants To Make Deontay Wilder Vs. Joe Joyce Fight Official

Promoter Frank Warren says that he has no issues making a fight between Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) and the undefeated Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) if required.

Last week, the idea of the Wilder-Joyce fight was discussed by many fans on Twitter and other social media platforms. The idea came after the Juggernaut dismantled Christian Hammer at the Wembley Arena. Joyce won via stoppage in round 4.

“I’ve got no problem making that fight,” said Warren to iFL TV.

“Absolutely, no problem if it’s there and can be done, I’d love to do it. Why wouldn’t we try and do that fight? It would be a great fight. No problem,”.

“Of course, if it landed, but can you imagine Joe landing his [shots] on his chin. It’s not a problem. I may speak to Shelly [Finkell] about it,”.

“We want to be in a position where we’re announcing something early next week for him, and get it on sale. That’s what we’re looking to try and do,”.
