Quote: Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul Could End In Knockout
The CEO of Fanmio insists fight fans will be in for a true bout when Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul share the ring.
Mayweather and Paul are scheduled to collide in an exhibition bout on February 20. The early PPV price is $24.99. Pricing may fluctuate, which is possibly an attempt to gauge interest on pre-orders.
Solomon Engel, the founder and CEO of Fanmio, told The Sun that Mayweather vs. Paul won’t be a sparring session.
“This is a real fight. And whoever wins, wins. Certainly there could be a knockout, yes. I think it will be a very competitive fight. And to be clear, we have Floyd who is the best fighter, and Logan who is a new fighter. But, Logan does have some size difference, he’s many inches taller, many pounds heavier and when you look at size and how that could affect the match, there’s really no telling what the outcome could be.
“I do think that it will be competitive because Floyd has an incredible amount of skill and he’s going to bring that to the table and Logan has size. It’s like the David vs Goliath story – and we all know the outcome of that. But we don’t know what the outcome will be here.”
Mayweather hasn’t had an exhibition bout since December 2018. He defeated Tenshin Nasukawa via first-round TKO under the RIZIN banner. As for Paul, his last outing was a pro bout against fellow YouTuber KSI. Paul lost the bout via split decision back in November 2019.
