Rakic Signs New UFC Contract
A familiar face may be staying with the UFC for a while. Light heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic has reportedly signed a new multi-fight deal with the promotion. It will be his third new contract with the UFC.
Via Instagram, Rakic himself posted the following:
“Pleased to announce that I signed a new long term contract with 6 fights in the @ufc . This is the 3rd contract with the company in 2 years. Rocket Time”
Rakic (12-2) joined the UFC in 2017, beating Francimar Barroso via unanimous decision. He was climbing up the ladder with the promotion before losing his first fight with them against Volkan Oezdemir last December. It was the 28-year-old Austrian’s first loss since his first pro fight in 2011.
There are no scheduled bouts for Rakic as of this moment.
