Ramirez Outlasts Imam With Unanimous Win At MSG

Jose Ramirez showcased skill and determination in a twelve round  battle against Amir Imam, and walked away with the vacant WBC super lightweight title at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

It was a unanimous decision win for the 2012 Olympian, who would pull at 115-113, 117-111, and 120-108 win, where judge John Stewart would score all 12 rounds for Ramirez.

Ramirez is walking out of New York City with a mandatory opponent in WBC interim 140 titlist, Regis Prograis, who won the crown after knocking out Julius Indongo.

The now champion would control the pace and tempo of the fight, and while Imam would attempt to battle through it with no avail.
