Randy Couture Recovering At Home Following His Car Crash

Randy Couture has been released from a Las Vegas burn center and is now recovering at home following a serious car accident.

The 62-year-old sustained first- and second-degree burns as well as broken ribs during the crash, which occurred while he was practicing for a race. Couture had to be airlifted to the hospital, but doctors now expect him to make a full recovery. He is currently undergoing outpatient treatment as his healing continues. Couture had recently been training for a debut in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), expressing interest in making the transition to professional racing.

“I’ve been a fan of racing for 12, 13 years. From up in the stands it looks really easy—oh they just go fast … it’s so much more involved,” Couture said

Despite the setback, Couture is said to be in good spirits and focused on his recovery.
