Refs-Judges Assigned for Cowboy-Conor

The three people at ringside and the third man inside the octagon for Conor McGregor’s return have been set by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

On Wednesday the commission who will oversee UFC 246 assigned veteran referee Herb Dean to act as the referee for McGregor’s welterweight battle with Donald Cerrone.

Dean was the official for McGregor’s 2018 loss to Khabib Nurmagomadov at UFC 229 and has been the referee for 12 of Donald Cerrone’s previous trips to the Octagon.

The judges on hand for the fight will be Sal D’Amato, Chris Lee, and Derek Cleary, who was a judge for McGregor’s UFC 202 win over Nate Diaz, scoring the fight 48-47 for McGregor.
