Regis Prograis: Adrien Broner Should Fight Me On Triller
Regis Prograis continues to vie for a showdown with Adrien Broner.
Prograis is coming off a sixth-round TKO victory over Ivan Redkach. The initial result was a technical decision in favor of Prograis but it was changed to a TKO finish. The bout served as the co-main event of a Triller event headlined by Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren.
Broner reacted to the success of his event in a social media post.
“This is crazy. [Expletive] train their whole life and never get a chance to make this type of money. I’m happy for Jake Paul and I think he deserves everything given to him but this is mind-blowing. Cause Showtime Boxing and Al Haymon do pay the f— outta me but I really put the work in since I was six years old to get to where I am but this is just my opinion I’m not hating or nothing ….. [Expletive] MY NEXT FIGHT GOT TO BE ON TRILLER.”
Prograis is aware of Broner’s desire to fight on Triller and during an appearance on The DAZN Boxing Show, he said he’d welcome the bout (via BoxingScene.com).
“Broner heard what money Triller is paying, and he said he wants to fight on Triller next. Who is better to fight Broner than me?
“If it’s not the next fight, then it’s the one right after that. I really think me and Broner should be the next fight right back on Triller. That’s a huge fight. Even in and out of the ring, that’s going to be a big event. I would try. I already know I can beat him.”
