Report: Adrien Broner Set For Return On Showtime In February 2021

Adrien Broner is reportedly on his way back to the boxing ring.

Broner hasn’t been seen in action since January 19, 2019. He suffered a unanimous decision loss to Manny Pacquiao for the WBA (Regular) Welterweight Title. Broner hasn’t emerged victorious since February 18, 2017.

Mike Coppinger of The Athletic reports that Broner will be back to business and his bout will air live on Showtime.

Sources: Adrien Broner slated to return in February on Showtime. Few opponents being discussed. First bout since he was defeated by Manny Pacquiao in January 2019. Otto Wallin-Dominic Breazeale heavyweight scarp is the chief support.”

No opponent has been determined for Broner, although some names have been thrown out. Many have speculated that Broner could face Ivan Redkach or Thomas Dulorme. It’s important to note that those names have simply been speculated and an opponent has not been reported at this time.

As mentioned in the report, Otto Wallin vs. Dominic Breazeale is planned for the event. Wallin last competed back on August 15. He scored a fifth-round TKO finish over Travis Kauffman.

Breazeale was last seen back in May 2019. He was knocked out by Deontay Wilder in the first round. It was a failed bid for the WBC Heavyweight Title.
