Rickels-Bomba Set For Bellator 210 Co-Main Event
David Rickels looks to bounce back at Bellator 210, when the veteran fighter takes on Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos.
In a story first reported by MMA Fighting, a welterweight fight between Rickels and Vasconcelos will act as the co-main event for the event on November 30th from the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Rickels’ three-fight win streak end in May when he would suffer a second-round TKO to Michael Page at Bellator 200. Prior to the loss to Page, excluding a loss to Melvin Guillard that was overturned to a no-contest when Guillard tested positive for a banned substance, Rickels had wins over Adam Piccolotti, Aaron Derrow, and Bobby Cooper.
Vasconcelos is coming off of a first-round submission win over Ivan Castillo at Bellator 192, which accounts for one of his three victories since joining Bellator in 2016.
In the Bellator 210 main event, Melvin Manhoef meets Chidi Njokuani in a middleweight bout.
