The Hitman will be returning to the ring at the age of 43 for an exhibition fight against Marco Antonio Barrera. The match will be taking place on July 2 in the Manchester Arena.

The former British boxer will be returning to this arena a decade after retiring. His last match was in 2012 when he got defeated by Vyacheslav Senchenko in this arena.

In the United Kingdom, you won’t see a more popular fighter in the market than Hatton. He has enjoyed a lot of support in the UK during his prime.

The Stockport native has successfully unified titles at super-lightweight and was also able to clinch the welterweight title.

But he fell short in his fights against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in 2007 and 2009 respectively.

His 21-year-old son, Campbell, has since become a pro boxer with a 7-0 record.
