Glory Collision 6: Rico Verhoeven vs. Tariq Osaro Set For November 4th

Rico Verhoeven will take on Tariq Osaro in a heavyweight unification at Glory Collision 6 on November 4th, 2023, at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Following his knee injury against Jamal Ben Saddik, which had hampered his comeback, Verhoeven will be fighting for the first time since 2021.

During the course of that process, he stopped Saddik via a fourth-round TKO. That was Verhoeven’s tenth-successful defense of his heavyweight title, as he remains unbeaten in his last 16 fights.

In contrast, Osaro’s last fight was a stoppage win over Antonio Plazibat at Glory Collision 5. That secured him the interim belt as he turned his attention towards Verhoeven.

In the aftermath of the bout, he let everyone know in no uncertain terms that he was ready for Rico.

“Plazibat did an awesome job, I appreciate him a lot for the fight. I can’t put it into words. I’m destined for greatness, I’m here to stay. [Rico] get as ready as possible, I am coming for the gold one,” Osaro
