Ronda Rousey & Travis Browne Get Engaged

Ronda Rousey has been mostly out of the spotlight since her last loss in the UFC, but this week she was spotted looking happier than ever, and for a reason: Rousey revealed that she has gotten engaged to her boyfriend and fellow fighter Travis Browne.

TMZ approached Rousey and Browne for an interview, and the couple was asked about the new ring Rousey was sporting.

“We’re getting married,” Rousey said.

Browne revealed that he had popped the question during a vacation the two recently took to New Zealand.

“We were out under a waterfall in New Zealand and it felt like the right place to do it,” Browne said.

Rousey said that they have not settled on details for a wedding yet, but she does not expect a massive event to match her high-profile status as one of MMA’s biggest stars.

“Soon, but I don’t know what goes into planning a wedding,” Rousey said. “It could be really easy. I don’t really want a lot. We don’t really need decorations or flowers, just somewhere to go and something to eat and some people around.”

Browne, who has lost his last three fights, returns to the cage at UFC 213 in July in a fight against Oleksiy Oliynyk. Rousey has not confirmed her retirement from MMA yet, but many believe she is done fighting.
