For the first time since her UFC 223 title defense against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Rose Namajunas will return to the Octagon at UFC 237.
The UFC’s stawweight champion is set to face off against Jessica Andrade in Brazil on May 11th, in Namajunas’ second title defense since beating Jedrzejczyk in back-to-back fights at UFC 217 and UFC 223.
The story was first reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto who tweeted the following on Monday night.

Speaking to ESPN, Dana White confirmed the fight would likely serve as the UFC 237 co-main event, while the location and venue has not been locked as of yet.
Andrade goes for her second attempt at the strawweight title after suffering a loss to Jedrzejczyk, but has won three straight fights capped off with a knockout of Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 228 in September.
