Rousey Working With New Trainer, Causes Speculation

Following Ronda Rousey’s second devastating loss in December, many believed that she would never fight in the UFC again. UFC President Dana White has echoed that sentiment, and Rousey’s been MIA since the fight. The new trainer Rousey is working with, however, has fueled speculation that she may not be done after all.

On Wednesday, a strength and nutrition trainer Dan Garner posted a photo of Rousey on social media with a caption that revealed that she was his newest client.

“Wanted to give a good welcoming post to Ronda Rousey who has just recently joined the team," he wrote, "and is all set for the comprehensive nutritional programming process with myself. Excited to have her on board and to accomplish some great things with her this year. Let’s go!”

Garner works with a number of MMA fighters, but none even close to the notoriety of Ronda Rousey. Whether him working with Rousey serves a different purpose, or if she is indeed planning another comeback this year, the speculation will only continue until Rousey makes an ultimate statement about the future of her career.
