Roy Jones Jr. Vs. Mike Tyson: Who Will Reportedly Be Appearing?

The world has been buzzing ever since Mike Tyson announced he will be taking on Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition bout. On September 12, two former world champions will be looking to put on a show for millions to watch. What else can we expect from the “Frontline Battle” event?

Another fighter on the card may have spoiled a surprise.

YouTube star Jake Paul is scheduled to face off against former NBA player Nate Robinson. The former recently went on the Impaulsive podcast and discussed the guest list on who may be performing at the event. Via hot New Hip Hop, it was announced that Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Post Malone will be making an appearance. It is unknown when a concert would be or if they will be performing a live entrance for a fighter like Paul.

Paul has boxed before; the 23-year-old beat AnEsonGib in January inside The Meridian At Island Gardens in Miami. It was considered a sloppy but easy win, as he was able to finish him off in the first round via TKO. Initial reports had KSI challenging Paul after facing his brother Jake twice.

The rumored musical group comes after Triller became the PPV provider for the event. Known for music and short videos (almost like TikTok), Triller will be diving into the sports scene. Triller reportedly paid about $50 million for exclusive streaming rights for the exhibition. The company will create a ten-part docuseries leading up to fight night. Investors of the company include Snoop Dogg and Pitbull.

Lil Wayne is also an investor, while Eminem has collaborated with Triller before.

The fight between Tyson and Jones will take place inside the Dignity Health Sports Arena in California. There will be no crowd at this event.
