Ryan Garcia Denies Eddie Hearn’s Comments About Moving To The PBC

Ryan Garcia has shut down Eddie Hearn’s suggestion that he is going to move to the PBC following his fallout with Oscar De La Hoya

Garcia’s response arrives following the news that De La Hoya has sued the star after the former alleged that his contract was not enforceable due to some breaches.

It is claimed that Garcia informed Golden Boy via a letter that his contract had been breached.

He alleged that his agreement allowed him to box on pay-per-view regardless of the network following his signing with the promotional outfit in 2016.

However, when it came to his fight with Gervonta Davis, Garcia was apparently told that it must be broadcast on DAZN, too, due to a separate agreement with Golden Boy.

Thereafter, De La Hoya filed a lawsuit as the relations became sour.

“With this filing, we are seeking to ensure that Ryan and his team will honor the remainder of his contract, a contract that Ryan himself called ‘one of the most lucrative boxing deals for a prospect in the history of the sport,” Golden Boy

As a result, Hearn suggested that Garcia may be looking to switch up promoters.

“He’s made his move. I’ve never had one conversation with Ryan Garcia or Guadalupe about Ryan Garcia…Absolutely [It’s PBC.]

“So we know the links there, and now it’s going to be up to the courts to decide whether he’s able to do that, whether he was right to do that, and it’s going to be a horrific mess,” Hearn

Despite this being the case, Garcia has denied doing anything of the sort. This would leave the door open for Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing to get involved since Garcia does fight on DAZN too.

But for now, Garcia is not entertaining anything new.
