Ryan Garcia Names His Hit List Including Teofimo Lopez, Pacquiao And More

Ryan Garcia outlined his list of targets if he gets past Devin Haney on April 20.

Garcia aims to win his first world title by securing Haney’s WBC Junior Welterweight Belt. The boxer has reassured fans the fight will go ahead following concerns over his mental health. Ryan admitted smoking weed and drinking alcohol after telling fans he was ‘high as f**k’ during a Live Space interaction.

Garcia’s social media activity has also raised worry, with his ex-wife calling on fans to pray for him. However, Garcia is fully focused on the task ahead, as he outlined a list of fighters he wanted. He mentioned a rematch with Gervonta Davis, a fight with Teofimo Lopez, Sean O’Malley and Manny Pacquiao.

“I would love to fight Teofimo Lopez. He likes to outbid himself and say he’s more than he is, and I’m not trying to demean him. I’m just looking at the business aspect of it. He kind of prices himself out every time. That’s why he doesn’t get a big fight, but if I can’t get him, I’d like to fight Sean O’Malley in the MMA. If I can’t get that, I would love the Tank rematch if I could get that next. The dream fight is Manny Pacquiao. Where could that happen? In Saudi Arabia,” Garcia said

Garcia was vocal about his defeat to Tank Davis. Garcia was stopped in the seventh round as he suffered his first career defeat. But the opening few rounds showed a confident Garcia. He kept Davis at bay with his jab, going on the front foot to push him back. But it all changed when Davis landed a counter left to drop Garcia in the second round. But before that, Garcia sensed Davis was in trouble after he landed a right over the top.

“I almost pulled it off in the second round when I hurt him. He was running and holding me. He had the most scared face I’ve ever seen in my life. He didn’t even try to pretend to hug me. He ran to me and almost grabbed my knee,” Garcia added
