Ryan Garcia Teases His Return To The Ring As Rolly Title Fight Could Happen

Ryan Garcia’s return to the ring could be very soon after he confirmed that he has a fight lined up at 140 lbs.

Garcia’s last fight was a defeat against Gervonta Davis, as he suffered a seventh-round TKO loss. While that may have been the case, Garcia’s future at 140 lbs could look bright.

He did not outline who his opponent could be, but there is a strong suggestion that he is being considered for a title shot against the newly-crowned WBA champion Rolando Romero.

The former became the champion when he knocked out Ismael Barroso in a heavily criticised decision, as the referee waved off the bout despite Barroso firing back.

And by the looks of it, Romero is ready for the challenge.

“I want it to happen, the boxing world wants it to happen, I hope Ryan and his team want it to happen, and if everyone wants it to happen, let’s make this s**t happen. I hope we can make the fight happen.

“It’s the biggest fight for boxing. I know Ryan is going to come, and it’s going to be an entertaining press conference. It’s going to be an entertaining event altogether, and I’m going to make that entertaining because I’m the best promoter in the game,” Rolly said
