Ryan Garcia Threatens To Punch Eddie Hearn

Ryan Garcia threatened to punch Eddie Hearn as their working relationship soured further.

Garcia and Hearn worked closely together to make the Devin Haney fight. Garcia would beat Haney via a majority decision, dropping him three times on his way to the win. However, Garcia failed two VADA tests for Ostarine. If Garcia cannot prove his innocence, the result could become a no-contest.

Hearn has backed that idea, given he represents Haney. Haney’s attorney has taken legal action, telling the New York State Athletic Commission to disqualify Garcia and give his client the win. Hearn also called for a lifetime ban if it is proven that Garcia took PEDs intentionally. As Garcia maintained his innocence, he was not pleased to hear Hearn’s comments, threatening to punch the promoter.

“Nah, he’s against me. I don’t like him. I don’t like him at all. If I see him, I’m going to punch him in the face. This week, I’m going to punch him in the face. “How can you get a victory after you lost? That makes no sense. You can’t make this up. I don’t know. I’m done,” Garcia said

But when they faced each other, the two showed no animosity.
