Ryan Garcia To Fight On April 2 In Las Vegas
Boxing fans are excited to see Ryan Garcia’s recent announcement on social media. The 23-year-old (21-0, 18 KOs) says he will return to action on April 2.
While Las Vegas seems to be the likely host for Garcia’s fight, no one still knows who he will face. With Manny Pacquiao and Gervonta Davis out of the picture, for now, fans feel either Isaac Cruz, Joseph Diaz Jr or Javier Fortuna may be chosen as Garcia’s dance partner for April.
The California native is confident that he will take home the W regardless of whom he faces.
It doesn’t matter who’s my opponent In April I’m going to win.

Garcia has not fought since 2020. He was close to fighting Diaz, but he pulled out at the eleventh hour. The boxing prodigy then took a layoff citing his mental health. Social media users have often criticized him for being all over the place with different fighters.
Earlier, fans were expecting a fiery bout between Garcia and Cruz to go down, but the former WBC interim lightweight champion downplayed the talks by calling Cruz a “C-class” fighter.
The fight was completely off the table when Garcia’s promoter Oscar De La Hoya revealed that the boxer has refused to take on the Pitbull despite being offered a “lucrative” offer.
Nonetheless, Cruz went on to put up a great against Gervonta Davis in 2021 to show that he belongs at the top.
