Ryan Garcia vs. Luke Campbell Won’t Clash With Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia

Those who were worried about Ryan Garcia vs. Luke Campbell airing at the same time as Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia don’t have to fret any longer.

Garcia and Campbell will compete for the interim WBC Lightweight Championship on December 5. While the event was initially set to be unopposed, Spence vs. Garcia was moved from November 21 to December 5. The reason for this was to have Spence vs. Garcia take place in front of a live crowd inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

While Spence vs. Garcia will take place on pay-per-view in the evening, Garcia vs. Campbell has adjusted. Oscar De La Hoya appeared on The 3 Knockdown Rule podcast and revealed that Garcia vs. Campbell is being moved to the afternoon (h/t ESPN).

“It’s not a logistical nightmare. This fight [Garcia-Campbell] will be in the afternoon. Their fight will be taking place in the evening, so it gives everyone enough time to do what they have to do.”

Garcia vs. Campbell will air live on the sports streaming service, DAZN. Garcia is looking to stay undefeated. Up to this point, he has amassed a pro boxing record of 20-0. Along the way, 17 of those victories have come by way of knockout.
