Ryan Garcia Vs. Oscar Duarte Weigh-In Results

Ryan Garcia and Oscar Duarte both weighed in for their junior welterweight clash on December 2nd, 2023.

Garcia enters the fight looking to avenge his loss to Gervonta Davis the last time out. A move up to 140 under his new trainer, Derrick James, promises much, given his renewed confidence heading into the fight. However, following the outbursts against Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins at the pre-fight presser, the pressure is on the fighter to perform.

Duarte, in contrast, has the chance to pull off a huge upset, having stopped his last 11 opponents. In chief support, Floyd Schofield faces Ricardo Lopez at lightweight after both fighters were moved to the co-main event after Ohara Davies‘ WBA junior welterweight interim clash with Ismael Barroso was pulled after the Brit’s visa problems. With that being said, Garcia and Duarte both came in at a career heaviest. Garcia hit the scales at 143 pounds while Duarte weighed 142.8 pounds.
