Ryan Garcia Wants To Get Serious, But Calls Out Internet Influencer?
Ryan Garcia is fully focused on becoming a world champion in the future.
As of now, the boxer must first overcome Oscar Duarte on December 2nd, 2023. The bout will be Garcia’s first fight with Derrick James at 140 pounds following his loss to Gervonta Davis at lightweight. In the aftermath, there was a narrative that Garcia had quit after failing to get up from the body shot in time. Despite this being the case, the boxer earned a reported $30 million from the fight. However, that played into the narrative that Garcia’s relevancy was due to his social media following as opposed to his boxing skills. But a world title would change all that, which is what Garcia was fully focused on.
“Tired of disrespect. I’m fed up, and I’ve been at 50% for so long it will be different. I promise that to myself. I don’t care about anything but becoming a champion. My eyes used to care about social media and what that did for my career. Now, I don’t care. I’m ready to win,” Garcia
The perception that Garcia was not dedicated to boxing also emerged during his time training with Canelo Alvarez. The latter publicly urged the boxer to dedicate himself, with suggestions that his social media ventures were harming his focus. But a win over Duarte would put Garcia in line to potentially face Teofimo Lopez or Devin Haney for a world title.
And yet, Garcia also called out KSI following his loss to Tommy Fury. That is hardly going to prepare Garcia for becoming a world champion in a bout that would only make sense from a financial point of view. After all, the KSI-Fury bout was met with criticism, specifically from Carl Froch over the quality of the fight. And if Garcia has serious ambitions over becoming a world champion, then tougher opposition is needed.
I’ll face Anthony ugly Taylor, DEEN the dumbass and KSLIES all in the same day only way I’ll do it.
Each of them gets 4 rounds 😂😂

Social Media Response
So why’s he calling out all these misfit fighters?

If he put as much focus into boxing than he does with social media then it could happen
