Sanchez Asked Jordan For Shoes To Help GGG Catch Canelo

On February 27th, Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin stood face to face publicly for the first time since their controversial 2017 clash in Las Vegas.

Both fighters told those in attendance at LA Live, that they will ensure that the judges are not a factor on May 5th in their rematch at the T-Mobile Arena.

“Everything is ready for an amazing show, “I felt very comfortable. I felt I won. 100 percent,” claimed the undefeated Golovkin, who has stated since their first fight in September 2017, that he was the true winner of the fight.

Not only does Golovkin’s trainer, Abel Sanchez agree, but has claimed that Alvarez was “running” from his fighter in their first meeting and put a call in to one of Golovkin’s sponsors to remedy it..

“I talked to (Michael) Jordan about it and asked if he could make us some shoes so that we can go a bit faster and are able to catch him.

“I hope for the fans that he puts on the fight that he said he was going to do the first time.”
