Scott Coker Committed To Bringing Kayla Harrison To Bellator

Bellator MMA president Scott Coker has expressed his intention of signing Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison.

Coker said that he’ll try his best to procure the services of the Ohio native and bring her to Bellator.

Harrison, 31, who won her second consecutive PFL title last month, is currently a free agent and is looking for a new challenge. She holds a perfect record of 12 wins and no losses in her MMA career so far.

And with Olympic accolades also under her belt, the Ohio native is looking for a remunerative deal that she verily deserves.

Recently, the news of different promotions striving to get Harrison on board is circulating – including Bellator.

“She’s an accomplished athlete. She’s fought some good competition. I think she’s a hard worker,” he said. “I watched her train about eight months ago, or six months ago in the gym. This girl is a force to be reckoned with”.

Coker said that he is in constant talk with Harrison’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, and soon they will be able to put a deal together.

“I just want to let her know that I’m going to start talking to Ali, and that we are serious and that we’ll try to do our best to put a deal together to have her come over here to fight (Cris) Cyborg and some of the other girls that we have on the roster.”

“We will do our best to try and bring a good offer and try to bring Kayla here to Bellator,” Coker added.
