WBC Junior Middleweight Champion Sebastian Fundora (23-1-1) faces Keith Thurman (31-1-0) on Saturday. The event will air outside the U.S. live on FIGHT SPORTS MAX in several countries.
The two were set to box in October 2025, but Fundora’s hand injury weeks before the fight meant it was rescheduled. Fundora is coming off a seventh-round stoppage of Tim Tszyu last July, his second win over the Australian. Now, he will face Thurman, who has secured two straight wins over Mario Barrios (2022) and Brock Jarvis (2025). While Thurman only has one defeat on his record, which came against Manny Pacquiao in 2019, he has only boxed twice in seven years. A win makes Thurman a two-weight world champion, having unified previously at 147.
