Amanda Serrano (50-4-1, 32 KOs) has announced that her final fight will take place in January 2027, with the seven-division world champion planning to end her career in front of fans in her native Puerto Rico. The plan follows Katie Taylor’s recent retirement fight in front of a sold-out Croke Park crowd in Dublin.
Serrano, 38, currently holds the WBA, WBO and Ring featherweight titles and is a seven-division world champion. She is also the only Puerto Rican boxer, male or female, to become undisputed champion in boxing’s four-belt era.
She picked up the 50th victory of her career in August with a majority-decision win over Lucrecia Anabella Manzur, retaining her featherweight titles. The victory left Serrano tied with Christy Martin for the all-time women’s knockout record at 32.
Serrano will have one final opportunity to break that record in her farewell bout. An opponent has not yet been announced.
