Shakur Says He’s Already Signed Haney Contract

Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 11 KOs) has responded to Bill Haney telling him to sign off on a proposed 144-pound fight with Devin Haney (33-0, 15 KOs), saying his side has already done so.

“Stop it. My part been signed. U see who I’m wit,” Stevenson

“Trolling can only last so long. It’s either me or Key — lose-lose either way now make y’all decision,” Stevenson

The “Key” reference is understood to mean WBO welterweight mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis (15-0, 10 KOs), whom Bill Haney has floated as an alternative opponent if talks with Stevenson collapse — though Stevenson and Davis have long said they have no interest in fighting each other.

Bill Haney has maintained that Devin won’t vacate any titles before a deal is finalized and has warned the team will move on if talks with Stevenson fall through. Team Haney has not yet responded to Stevenson’s latest claims.
