Shakur Stevenson And Artem Harutyunyan Face Off In Final Presser

Shakur Stevenson and Artem Harutyunyan held their final presser before their July 6 clash.

Stevenson has his final fight under Top Rank, leaving him open to exploring other promoters. His last fight was a win over Edwin De Los Santos for the vacant WBC Lightweight Title. The performance was booed as Shakur boxed on the back foot. He later revealed he had a hand injury, but his stock had fallen. An impressive win over Artem puts Shakur back in the frame for the biggest fights.

Artem hopes to win his first world title. He lost a decision to Frank Martin in his last fight. However, he outboxed Martin before he took a knee in the final round. That proved crucial, as the judges declared Martin the winner. Artem will hope he can replicate that form.
