Shakur Stevenson Arrested In Miami

Following his 21st birthday, Shakur Stevenson would be arrested on charges of misdemeanor battery for an alleged attack a Miami parking garage.

Following his birthday celebration in Miami, where hip hop star, Drake would make an appearance,  Stevenson and another boxer, David Grayton got into an altercation with a group of people in a parking garage.

According to Miami Reporter, Andy Slater, Stevenson and Grayton began to verbally berate a group that included two women, which would lead to a physical altercation in which male and female victims were struck, according to Miami police.

The police report alleges that both male and female victims would be treated for visible injuries on the scene, while Stevenson and Grayton fled the scene, but later found at the nearby Shore Club South Beach Hotel.

Both Stevenson and Grayton would suffer cuts from the attack, per the police report.

Stevenson is set for a return to the ring on August 18th, following a knockout win over Aelio Mesquita in June. Grayton, 30, has a 15-2-1 pro record in six years as a pro, and a prior charge for misdemeanor battery.
