Shakur Stevenson continued his war of words with George Kambosos Jr.
The duo’s recent exchange followed in the aftermath of Kambosos’ controversial win over Maxi Hughes.
Despite the Australian being given a majority-decision win, a large portion of the boxing community felt Hughes should have gotten the win as he landed the cleaner punches.
In the post-fight comments, Stevenson claimed Hughes had been robbed. In addition, he promised to stop Kambosos if they ever met.
“I will stop him. I will stop him. You get in the ring with me, it would be bad. As far as me, I feel as though you can’t f**k with me.
“If they don’t fight me, we can make it happen, and I’m going to stop you. I promise you, I’m going to stop you. I’m going to stop you. I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you, bro,” Stevenson
And that has now resulted in the pair trading blows on social media. Stevenson indicated that he would bet his whole purse, showing how confident he was over a win.
Meanwhile, Kambosos questioned Stevenson’s failure to take Devin Haney’s offer of 25 percent to fight him.
There’s only been a handful of us anyway so that’s cool, some unbelievable fighters on that list. Too bad you will never be apart of that list because you wont take 25% for the opportunity 😬😂😂 shit I would of fought Teo for free for that opportunity. What’s wrong with ya cuz

Shakur On Loma
Much in the same way, Stevenson vowed to beat Vasiliy Lomachenko in dramatic style if they were to fight.
The Ukrainian’s attempts at becoming undisputed at lightweight suffered a heavy blow, as he came out second best to Devin Haney in a controversial unanimous-decision loss.
Many felt Lomachenko had done enough to win. And given that Haney is reportedly moving up to 140, any rematch has been ruled out, which would make the belts vacant again.
And if Stevenson had the chance to face Loma, he backed himself to come out on top.
“I would get my credit because I’m a wash him. If me and Lomachenko fight, I’m a wash him, and then everybody’s gonna understand why other people don’t like to fight me,” Stevenson
