Shakur Stevenson Vs. Felix Caraballo Live Results
Two words are meaningful to any combat fan, especially now: boxing and Vegas.
Top Rank will be returning to action for the first time since early March. Bob Arum has worked hard to bring the sport back to the United States, due to the results of the coronavirus. With multiple cards going on during the week, the promotion is ready to rebuild its momentum. Today, June 9, boxing will take place inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The main event will feature Shakur Stevenson v. Felix Caraballo. The WBO Featherweight Champion in Stevenson (13-0) was supposed to face Miguel Marriaga on March 14 inside Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the fight was postponed. Stevenson’s original opponent for the June fight, Rafael Rivera, had to back out as a result of visa issues.
Caraballo (13-1-2) is on a five-fight win streak and has nine wins via knockout. His last fight was a TKO-win against Sergio Lopez back in January. The bout between the two will not be for the title.
