Shakur Stevenson Vs. Shuichiro Yoshino Weigh-In Results

Shakur Stevenson and Shuichiro Yoshino both weighed in under the 135 lb limit for their upcoming lightweight bout on April 8th, 2023.

Stevenson, whose record stands at 19 wins and nine knockouts with no losses, takes on the WBC’s fourth-ranked rising star Yoshino.

The Japanese fighter arrives into the bout on a high, with an impressive record of 16 wins and 12 knockouts, with his ‘0’ also intact.

The bout takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, as Stevenson aims to lay down a marker in front of his home crowd.

In preparation for the WBC title eliminator, Stevenson weighed in at 134.4 lbs for his first appearance in the lightweight division.

This should not come as a surprise given that Stevenson had failed to make weight against Robson Conceicao, which resulted in his super-featherweight titles being stripped, as he subsequently moved up to this weight class.

His opponent, Yoshino, weighed in at the required 135 lbs. With that being said, here are the rest of the weigh-in results.
