Shamrock Launches Bare Knuckle Promotion

UFC Hall of Famer, Pancrase legend, and former WWE star, Ken Shamrock is making his return to Combat Sports this year, not as a fighter, but as a promoter.

On Tuesday, Shamrock announced the launch of Valor Bare Knuckle, a bare knuckle fighting promotion that will launch on September 21st at the 4 Bears Casino in New Town North Dakota.

Shamrock, 55, last fought in 2016, ending a three decade career that saw him become a star in Pancrase, compete against Royce Gracie at UFC I, winning the PRIDE Grand Prix in 2000, and establish himself as one of the pioneers of mixed martial arts.

From 1997-2000, Shamrock would return to his pro wrestling roots, competing for the WWE, winning their Tag Team and intercontinental titles, and their King Of The Ring tournament.
