Shawn Porter Wants Comeback Fight Vs. Former World Champion Turned Analyst

Shawn Porter (31-4-1, 17 KOs) has floated a possible comeback fight against fellow former champion Tim Bradley (33-2, 13 KOs), despite neither man having competed professionally in years.

“Honestly for me it’s up to that dude. If he want me to kick him, I’ll kick him. It’s the little man complex that we both have. There is truly an amount of curiosity that [even though] I think we’re both past what would have happened [then], he says he will outbox me. The bottom line is at some point we’ll get in the ring, we either decide on the weight class and put in the work and do it in front of everybody, or I just knock on his door and I say we do this real quick, I need you to know you can’t outbox me,” Porter said.

Porter, a two-time welterweight world champion, retired in 2021 following a 10th-round stoppage loss to Terence Crawford.
Bradley, a two-division champion best known for his trilogy with Manny Pacquiao, has not fought professionally since 2016 and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2023.
The two have developed a friendly rivalry through their broadcasting work, although whether the back-and-forth ultimately leads to an actual fight remains unclear.
