‘She Knows Where I’m At’: Cris Cyborg Verbally Agrees To Face Kayla Harrison

Cris Cyborg shutdown Sinead Kavanagh in 92 seconds to retain her women’s featherweight title at Bellator 271, and Kayla Harrison was there to witness it.

Cyborg told media in the post-fight press conference that she’s ready to face anyone who wants to face her – including Harrison, who said she wants to fight Cyborg, MMA Junkie reported.

“If she really wants to fight me, she knows where I’m at,” Cyborg said.

“(Her manager Ali Abdelaziz) can negotiate with Scott Coker to make the fight happen. I have nothing to say. I’m not gonna share my shine today. I’m here ready for anyone who wants to fight me, for sure.”

Harrison (12-0) is a two-time PFL champion and an Olympic gold medalist in judo. She is currently a free agent after wrapping up her contract with PFL. It’s unclear if she’ll go back to that promotion, especially after she was in attendance Friday night for Bellator 271.

President Scott Coker did have a chat with the MMA star, as he previously said, but it doesn’t seem any deal has been struck yet.

Cyborg, despite accepting the potential challenge, said she doesn’t think the two would meet in the Bellator cage.

“We’re gonna talk about this back and forth, back and forth. I don’t think she’s gonna come out of PFL. I think she’s gonna continue PFL. This is just part of the game,” she added.

Still, the Bellator champion thanked Harrison for coming out to the event, adding, “She was coming to visit my house. I hope she really liked it.”
