The celebration will happen at the Berston Field House in downtown Flint on April 27th, as the city honors the only U.S. boxer to ever win Olympic gold twice.
Shields would become the first woman to ever be undisputed middleweight champion on April 13th, as she would outclass Christina Hammer in a unanimous decision win in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
