Shields To Headline PFL 3 In DC

The Professional Fighters League continues to announce the cards for their next season, as they’ve inked the card for their July debut in Washington D.C.

The main event for the July 5th event at the Charles E. Smith Center, will feature former Strikeforce welterweight champion, Jake Shields, as he faces Ray Cooper III.

PFL 3 is the third of 11 events, featuring a regular season and playoffs, where the best fighters in each division will battle for a $1,000,000 prize.

Also signed for the event is Abubakar Nurmagomedov, the cousin of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and UFC vets Rick Story, Yuri Villefort, and Paul Bradley.
