Showtime Issues Statement About Possible Refunds For Mayweather-Paul

Showtime pay-per-view had some problems on Sunday night for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul. The fight went all eight rounds as Mayweather outclassed Paul.

However, the big problem was the fact the pay-per-view wasn’t working for some. They sent out a tweet saying give it 10 minutes and try again. After that, they sent out a message saying they know some people were still having trouble.

“We are aware that some customers have been having trouble accessing tonight’s Pay Per View event on,” Showtime officials said. “We are working diligently to resolve the issue and will redress customers appropriately.”

After the event happened, many still had complaints that they paid for the PPV but never got access. Showtime then sent out a statement saying to go to their website to find more information on requesting a refund.

“If you purchased tonight’s PPV event through or the SHOWTIME app, and could not stream the fight, please go to for information on requesting a refund.”
