Silva Considers Khabib The New “Tough Guy” In UFC

Following Nick Diaz giving his opinion on a potential Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor faceoff, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has thrown his two cents in.

In an interview with TMZ, Silva proclaimed Khabib as the “new tough guy” in mixed martial arts, and claimed the current lightweight champion could become the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC.

“Khabib is great, he’s amazing!”

Including his praise for Nurmagomedov, Silva is hoping that the current lightweight champion can face off with Conor McGregor, who is awaiting a June court date for an attack on a UFC bus containing Khabib prior to UFC 223 in Brooklyn, NY.
