Social Media Erupts As Jake Paul Vs. Nate Diaz Confirmed-‘Massive Fight, Gonna Love The Build Up’
Jake Paul has announced that he is set to face Nate Diaz in the boxing ring at 185 lbs on August 5th, 2023, on DAZN following the cancellation of his rematch with Tommy Fury.
Both fighters will be looking to re-establish themselves in the crossover contest. Paul (6-1) experienced his first professional boxing loss against Fury via a split decision.
However, it appears that Paul will revert back to what has garnered him so much success in fighting non-professional boxers as a way to rebuild.
August 5th we commemorate the funeral for Nathaniel Diaz as we send him in casket back to Dana.
Refreshments will be provided at the service. Black Tie Attire.

So far, he has beaten Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren. Meanwhile, this will be Diaz’s (21-13) boxing debut, having fought in the UFC for the last 15 years.
He left the UFC after beating Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 via submission in 2022. While he has always touted the possibility of having a trilogy with Conor McGregor, for now, this is something that will have to wait.
Fighters’ Reaction
“My last fight didn’t end the way I wanted, but the result was the best thing that could have happened to my professional boxing aspirations. Now, the world thinks I am vulnerable, when all I am is more focused than ever.
“My team wanted me to take an easy fight like KSI next, but that’s not how I am built. Nate Diaz is considered one of the most bad-ass fighters of all time, but he and his team have been running their mouths for too long,” Paul
“Besides Canelo, he’s the biggest thang in boxing. I’m here to conquer that. I’m the King of combat sports and then I’m headed back to get my UFC belts.
“I f—– up Conor for acting out and now here I am again, like a Super Hero of the Real Fight game, the King of the Real Fight game,” Diaz
Those comments resonated with the sentiment online, as the fight has gotten people very vocal.
