Sonnen Calls Out Bader

Chael Sonnen wants a shot at Bellator’s “champ-champ,” calling out Ryan Bader following Bellator 214.

Sonnen made his callout following Bader winning the heavyweight title in a 35 second knockout of Fedor Emelianenko, adding the heavyweight championship to the light heavyweight title.

Bader is determined to defend both titles, and Sonnen looks to test that against Bader at 205 pounds.

Following his loss to Emelianenko at Bellator 208, Sonnen considered himself the top contender for the light heavyweight title, and now has called his shot towards Bellator’s first “champ-champ.”
