Sor Rungvisai To Fight Estrada In February

WBC super flyweight world champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai has been scheduled to take on mandatory challenger Juan Francisco Estrada tentatively on February 24, 2018, according to the WBC. The venue has yet to be determined, but the bout is expected to be held in California.

Sor Rungvisai is coming off a dominant and defining victory against former pound-for-pound king Roman Gonzalez in September, following a close win over Gonzalez in their first fight back in March, where he initially took the world title.

Estrada, who edged out Carlos Cuadras on the undercard of Sor Rungvisai-Gonzalez II to become the mandatory challenger, will look to continue his 10 fight win streak, since dropping a decision to Gonzalez back in late 2012.
