Sor Rungvisai’s First ONE Championship Opponent Set

Earlier this year, WBO super flyweight champion Sresaket Sor Rungvisai signed a deal to become the first boxer to fight under the ONE Fighting Championship’s banner, as the company looks to expand into other styles of fighting.

Sor Rungvisai’s opponent for his ONE FC debut on October 6th seems to have been set, as Iran Diaz will step up to the plate and challenge the WBC title holder.

In a story posted by ESPN Deportes, Diaz’ trainer let out that the 13th ranked flyweight will be making the trip to Bangkok in October to face off with the Thai fighter.

Diaz, who is in the middle of a four fight win streak, has only two losses on his record, both by knockout of Juan Hernandez Navarrete and Nordine Oubaali.
