Spence-Porter PPV Buys Trending 350K

While it won’t be setting many records, Errol Spence and Shawn Porter’s pay-per-view unification fight can be considered a success at the box office.

Per a report from The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger, the Fox Sports Pay-Per-View that saw Spence unify the IBF and WBC welterweight titles is looking at a total of 350,000 buys once all numbers come in, which trends with the over 300,000 buys Spence’s win over Mikey Garcia generated earlier this year.

With a price point of $74.99, the card from Los Angeles’ Staples Center will generate about $26 million in revenue for the broadcast, which will help bolster Spence’s cache heading into an alleged fight with Danny Garcia on Pay-Per-View in January.
