Spence Return Date And Opponent Revealed

Errol Spence (28-1-0, 22 KOs) vs. Tim Tszyu (26-3, 18 KOs) is reportedly being planned for July 26, 2026, in Australia. 

Spence hasn’t stepped into the ring since his ninth-round stoppage loss to Terence Crawford in July 2023. However, facing Tszyu in Australia after a three-year absence is a risk. Spence has split from his long-time trainer Derrick James, as he is now working under Ronnie Shields. It will also be Spence’s first fight at junior middleweight against a former WBO junior middleweight champion. Meanwhile, Tszyu is coming off a win over Denis Nurja on April 5 after which he called out Spence. The Australian is in better form, having secured two wins on the spin since his last defeat against Sebastian Fundora in July 2025. The winner would move a step closer to a title shot.
