Spence Would Wait For Manny For July

Following his unanimous decision win and masterful performance against Mikey Garcia, IBF welterweight champion, Errol Spence Jr. made it clear that Manny Pacquiao is the next man up for the pound-for-pound king.

Spence is more than willing to wait until Pacquiao’s next opening in his senate schedule so he can challenge the Filipino Senator to a unification fight.

“Yes. Why not?,” Pacquiao said of a fight with Spence in Dallas. “We’ll give the fans a good fight. I’m so happy to be here in Dallas, and I hope I will be back here soon.”

“Oh, it’s definitely a competitive fight,” Spence said.

“Manny Pacquiao, he’s blood and guts. So that’ll definitely be a great fight. He’s a future Hall-of-Famer, and he’s on his way out. And I’ll definitely give him that retirement check that he been needing.”
